SEEMS PRETTY STRAIGHT FORWARD TO ME! #SELFDEFENSE
A hard-working Manhattan bodega clerk who was forced to grab a knife to fend off a violent ex-con, now finds himself sitting behind bars at the notorious Rikers Island jail charged with murder and unable to post $250,000 bail.
The sky-high bail for Jose Alba — who has no known criminal history — was just half of what controversial Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg’s office demanded, despite surveillance video showing the clerk being assaulted by his alleged victim in the bodega.
Alba, 51, was charged with the fatal stabbing of Austin Simon, 35, who can be seen storming behind the counter at the Hamilton Heights Grocery on Broadway and West 139th Street to attack the store worker Friday night.
“It was either him or the guy at the moment,” Alba’s daughter Yulissa told The Post Wednesday, saying it was a case of self-defense.
“He’s never hurt anybody. He’s never had an altercation where he had to defend himself. This is the first time for him.”
According to reports, Austin Simon’s girlfriend got into an argument with Alba after her EBT card was declined when she tried to purchase a bag of chips.
The disgruntled woman then left the bodega, ran home and returned with her boyfriend – and that’s when the confrontation escalated.
According to Alba’s defense lawyer, the 32-year-old woman took a knife out of her purse and stabbed the bodega worker in the shoulder, the New York Post reported.
She is not facing charges for stabbing Jose Alba – But Jose Alba is facing a second-degree murder charge for fatally stabbing Austin Simon – AFTER the assailants stabbed him and violently attacked him.
Alba’s family says he was in fear for his life and acted in self-defense.
In this explosive episode, I break down Mike Lindell’s latest courtroom battle against Dominion Voting Systems—and why this trial could lead to the total collapse of corrupt voting machines in America. The fight for transparent, secure elections is heating up, and Lindell’s courage is shining bright once again.
But that’s just the beginning...
🔥 The Trump DOJ just filed a MAJOR lawsuit against North Carolina’s State Board of Elections for blocking transparency and facilitating voter fraud. This case could set a national precedent and expose the voter registration fraud racket of the left.
🖊️ Trump’s crypto czar, David Sacks, dropped a bomb by naming a top abuser of Biden’s illegal autopen scheme. That fraudulent signature device has been used to push through laws without a legitimate president—but will the deep state may finally be held accountable?

Marie, my youngest daughter, checked in for surgery at 5:25AM this morning. The procedure to replace her heart valve was over 3 hours long. The surgeon called us as we waited in the waiting room to inform us that the surgery went well. No complications. She is in recovery and we can see her in about 90 minutes!!! She will stay the night and be released on Wednesday. All done without the need for open heart surgery!! Praise the Lord!!🙏😇
I'm a GRANDPA, y'all! Baby born late Wednesday night! Mom (Juniorette) and Baby are healthy and strong! She went into labor about an hour after her younger sister, Marie, was discharged from the hospital! Needless to say, it's been one whirlwind of a day!
Hello Mr. James, I’m watching your YouTube video right now and I wanted to ask you or anyone else if anyone’s read this book yet right now I’m reading it. Have you read it yet Mr. James.
Hey BCP Podcast family!
Here is an update on our emergency custody situation: The 2 children that we were given emergency custody of will be leaving our care within the next 10 days to 2 weeks!! They will be living with their grandparents for a few months then go back to their parents! Yay!
We have been doing a lot these past few days to facilitate this great move for the children: multiple appointments with attorneys (everyone has their own attorney in this matter), doctors, therapists, school counselors, teachers, case workers and social workers. The State of California is VERY SLOW, so we have had to be EXTRA pushy and proactive to get anyone to move. (Including showing up at people's office without--ahem--an appointment, to get things going. )
I apologize for the lack of content recently. For instance, right now I was going to start recording today's episode, but I must watch these children while my wife attends yet another appointment and coordinates with the parents who need to get ...
