We are back in court in two weeks. We have to take the children with us to court that day. It must be an all day affair because they are providing childcare for the day. Very slow system in the California courts. 2 weeks of holidays puts them behind over a month. Government inefficiency at its finest!
But more importantly, the children are doing well with us at our home and are now used to the strict routine of reading, play, daily scripture study and chores my wife has them on. Yes, even the 4 year old has to pick up after himself and make his bed. These energetic boys are very happy in our home. They start their new school next week and will be able to make lots of new friends.
As many of you know, we homeschooled our children, but in this situation, that is not feasible. The state of California requires at this juncture that these children be enrolled and attend "regular" school.
Thanks for your prayers. I will keep you posted!

Here are pictures of me taking them out for ice-cream at some random place my parents treated us to. It was yummy and the kids loved it! I had fun navigating the long forgotten art of putting a car seat in the back seat. I don't think 2 door Maseratis are the ideal car for carseats, but oh well. The kids had fun! These are boys and they loved the loud exhaust and the thrust of acceleration!
