Hey BCP Podcast family!

Here is an update on our emergency custody situation: The 2 children that we were given emergency custody of will be leaving our care within the next 10 days to 2 weeks!! They will be living with their grandparents for a few months then go back to their parents! Yay!

We have been doing a lot these past few days to facilitate this great move for the children: multiple appointments with attorneys (everyone has their own attorney in this matter), doctors, therapists, school counselors, teachers, case workers and social workers. The State of California is VERY SLOW, so we have had to be EXTRA pushy and proactive to get anyone to move. (Including showing up at people's office without--ahem--an appointment, to get things going. )

I apologize for the lack of content recently. For instance, right now I was going to start recording today's episode, but I must watch these children while my wife attends yet another appointment and coordinates with the parents who need to get "certified" in parenting classes to satisfy the state requirement to get their kids back. (Because these children are technically wards of the state, anyone who watches them must pretty much be vetted, fingerprinted, etc. so today's last minute appointment required my wife to attend that and me stay and watch the kiddos.)

My upload schedule will probably be impacted for another week or so. Then I will be back in Utah and it will be back to a more regular production schedule.
